They supplied some superb offers, fantastic prizes & also a great cycling kit giveaway. They are the proud sponsors of the King & Queen of the Mountain, supplying the winners with a substantial amount of cash - They truly put a lot of support into Le Race. Sacha, Clynton and to all of the Coffee Culture stores out there, you have help tremendously promoting the event, whilst serving great coffee. They have been a delight to work with - Thank You !!!
Major Sponsors
Christchurch City Council
A very special mention to the Events Team and the Sports Services Team they have once again supported this fantastic event. It’s been brilliant that both units have endeavoured to help Le Race proceed through to its 11th year running. This is such a great city to be riding a bike and such a great Council supporting us. Many thanks to the entire team Jo, Amanda, Desiree, Lee mor, Kevin, Karena (for helping out at race pack pick up). Mayor Bob Parker for being there at the start line, your words of good luck and the firing of the starting blow horn were absolute gem. Also to Pioneer Leisure Centre, Group Fitness Coordinator John Growcott who coordinated with him team of instructors spin classes & focused these around training for Le Race – Great work thanks so much!
Newstalk ZB
What a great radio station to have on board and supplying Le Race with some great coverage. Having Dave, Rebecca on the start line announcing, getting those riders ready with anticipation! It was truly superb. Then the mad dash over to Akaroa for the finish line truly sensational – pity you couldn’t speak French. Transmitting live and doing live crossovers from the race, thanks so much. Brian Ashby, Tim Dyer, Lesley Murdoch, Malcolm Ellis, Jess Truesdale and the whole crew. Thanks for the adverts, the interviews, and the team support over the day, and of course the famous barbeque within the Akaroa Domain.
Balance
Thanks so much to Martin Bolton & Glen Collins the team from Balance. Providing us with some great products!! Balance provided the event with their Elite Fuel Supply Restore Isotonic drink, which I’m sure, gave all the riders some revitalising energy –at the end of their journey. Thanks Glen for the set up at the end of the race!!
Push Bikes
Who could ask for a better bike sponsor to come on board! Richard Alin & the support from his three stores; City Store, Papanui & Rangiora. Thanks so much for the hard work and support & the team down there providing the bike checks. This is the first year for Push Bikes to come on board and they have exceeded our expectations. The pre training Sunday rides, the free coffee, without support like this the event couldn’t take place. Thanks Richard & all of your team through out the stores. Please do take advantage of The Push Bikes Sunday rides which will be still continuing.
Armstrong Peugeot
Rick Armstrong, Matt Barr, Blair Peek & Kellie Wilkies and the whole team at Armstrong Peugeot, we couldn’t have done it without you. The support from these guys is phenomenal, we absolutely couldn’t have run this event without you Rick and the Armstrong Peugeot team. They supply us with cars out on course for lead drivers from tail end charlies, also the two cars supplied for us throughout the year. Also a quick mention to the team at Armstrong Prestige, the vans make our job so much easier.

A big thank you to our supporting partner Akaroa Promotions. What a great help you have been to Le Race in supplying us with great accommodation deals, information to help us plan the event on the other side & all of the Akaroa communities help. We really wouldn’t have done a lot of this event without your guidance and help – Hollie you have been a star!!
